Contra Costa Realtors in Motion ~ Reports from the CCRIM Board of Directors.
  • 16-Jul-10 08:42 | Jill Cruey (administrator)

We are looking to five-peat our Battle of the Corridor softball challenge on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 @ Heather Farms Park Field #1 at the corner of Y. V. Road and San Carlos Drive, W.C.  Game time will be 4 p.m.

Our evaluations/practices for the 14 person roster will be conducted Tuesday afternoons from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. beginning 08/03/10 through 08/24/10 at Hidden Lakes Park in Martinez at the corner of Morello Avenue and Chilpancingo Parkway.

The South team of the REM group is pushing hard to improve their roster with skilled softball players in order to dethrone the North squad.  We are determined to refine and improve our skills as well!  It is important that we attend as man of these scheduled workouts as possible.

If you are aware of any potential players that would like to participate, please email me their names and contact information.  We are going to cap the roster with no more than 7 men and seven women players.

Let's represent the outstanding Contra Costa Realtors In Motion with another quality and spirited softball competition!

Margalit Ir, CCRIM Treasurer reported the final tally for the Holiday event, funds collected, expenses incurred and dollars allocated for our three Charities.

    Income

    Funds Collected                         $6,051

    Expenses for Event                    $3,179

    Profit/Loss                                 $2,871

    Payments to Charities

    Christmas for Everyone   $   700

    Food Bank                     $   700

    Toys for Tots                  $2,040

    Total Donations              $3,440

    Total Profit/Loss            ($   568)

Originally, we thought to use $1,000 of CCRIM funds to support and sponsor the event.  If we distribute all of the funds collected for the three worthy charities, it looks like we only need $568.17 from the CCRIM funds, not the original $1,000 planned on.  Great job everyone.
